DIVINITY WITHIN - Day 28 of 108 Days - " All things in creation are subject to the law of change, and man, too, is subject to this law. "

Day 28 - People hide things from each other, if we can read each other's mind wouldn't it be easier because we do not have to second guess? if we are honest with ourselves then it would be easy to be honest with others, isn't it?

I wrote this after watching a movie about 2 people who professed to love each other dearly and yet one lied to the other claiming "what you don't know won't hurt you" and yet it always does because once we lied, we have to cover it up with another lie. But, what about those who tell the truth and those who claimed that "truth hurts, but it is better for you to know the truth". So???

"All things in creation are subject to the law of change, and man, too, is subject to this law."

If that is the case, that we are subject to the law of change, then what is a lie and what is the truth? If it is said that truth is truth and it does not change, then, should truth not be subject to change too? unless of course, TRUTH is not a thing in creation.

On day 27, it is said that Ritam is a higher than Sathyam. Sathyam is truth and Ritam is ABSOLUTE TRUTH and it transcends both good and evil. It s changeless and has no attribute.

So it is that when we refer to Truth here on earth, we do not really say that it changes. What we say is "FROM TRUTH TO HIGHER TRUTH" and that the highest truth will be the absolute truth. Let us say I am in first grade and I know that 1 + 1 = 2 and that is true for me. But if I am told that 1 - 3 = - 2, I will say that is not true because I have not learned it yet. As I go to higher grades and study higher mathematics, I go from truth to higher truth.

So, what about lies ? is it really a lie or can a lie be true? Let's go back to relationship. If all things in creation are subject to the law of change, and man, too, is subject to this law - then why do people look or search for a lasting relationship - if all are subject to change, then nothing last forever. When 2 people make a commitment and recite a marriage vow such as "...to love and to cherish, till death do us part", it is impossible to fulfill such a vow because we are subjected to the law of change and there is no escaping it. Why then do people accused each other of telling lies when at one time they professed their devotion and loyalty and the next minute they switched their allegiances? Is it because we were told all this lies that there is such thing as forever when in fact there is none - well, there is a forever changing thing but not a forever lasting.

Okay, are we clear on this then, that there is no such thing as lies, because in reality all is truth to higher truth? Isn't this more freeing, more relaxing, much easier to accept and enjoy than setting up conditions of everlasting whatever?

I know, can we just agree to disagree for a bit? You can keep accepting that there are such things as lies and I will believe that all is truth. All I am trying to do is give you an option - what if.... open your mind to possibilities, there is so much out there that if you are just flexible then you do not have to be stuck in your miseries, no need to suffer, no need to be in pain. You can continue to feel it but by opening up to possibilities, you are giving your self a choice, a choice to be boxed by the conditions and limitations that you agreed to or to be out of the box and free to be what you want to be - all is acceptable, no conditions, no limitations.
